I was put in touch with a creative agency who had obtained a new client; A Wimbledon-based upscale fast food restaurant named 'Last Bite'. I pitched them the idea and said i could get it done all by myself. It was wrote, directed, filmed, edited and coloured by me. I wanted to create something more than just an advert, I wanted to tell a story, a story that people connect with while also keeping the restaurants needs to advertise at heart. This whole video was completed by myself, with some assistance from my brother and Dad holding the boom pole... Imagine what I could do with a whole team ;)

This artist is called G-Tops on Spotify, search him up. He was signed to Sony Music Group but wanted to rebrand, Sony wouldn't allow this so he changed his name to Boratwyce and went independent. He wanted his first music video to have connotations of a Frecnh film whether that be from the cinematography or the colour grade. He wanted it all. So i pitched him this stylised black and white noir La Haine style video and here we are. This was directed, edited and shot by me with a budget of £0.
YUNG SBK is a talented MC who just released a new album which included heavy Japanese influences. His new track 'Pain Riddim' that featured on the album i was especially drawn to. So I pitched the idea of doing a visualiser/music video for the song in the style of 'A COLORS SHOW' and a live lounge by BBC RADIO 1XTRA. He really liked the idea and was even more impressed with the final product. There comes a time in every filmmakers life where their first proper short film needs to be made. I have been making mini shorts my whole life but were all made at an amateur level. I began writing and eventually finished my script, rented the Sony FX6 , a few lights and set off with my friends to make a film all about discovery. The story is about a hunter gatherer style cowboy family where the father has told the son their is no life outside the camp. The son gets fed up and believes it is a lie and sets off on his horse and is met with the magnificient city of London. It is a classic fish out of water tale but tiwht my own twist. I wrote, edited and directed this film. I complied a teaser to show all the shots and a rough idea of the film. Enjoy.

A relatively new club called DUST, opened in Brighton. They had a new club night starting up and taking place every Thursday night called FZN, this was a cool hip hop night with some jungle, amapiano and afro beats hints to it. To promote their new night they wanted a cool hip style video. I pitched the, the idea of a multi cam video: part digital part VHS. They liked the idea and were even more impressed with the final project. DUST venue posted the video to their Instagram and it is still sitting at their most viewed video with over 12,000 views. Proud to have been the filmmaker behind the pilot episode of a brand-new series by the music events collective Sound Story. The series kicked off with a bang, featuring world-renowned grime MC YUNGSBK, a raw 20-minute off-the-dome freestyle, and a powerful interview exploring his new sound, recent album, trip to Japan, and personal journey.
Here is a snippet of the freestyle and how i put my own twist on it.
Going forward, A Sound Story will host monthly live music events spotlighting genres from Grime to Jungle. Ahead of each event, a new episode will be released where we see a featured artist or DJ hit the Sound Story set to perform a freestyle or live set, followed by an interview—giving audiences a taste of what’s to come.
